Without a doubt our Expedition team onboard! Their expertise and knowledge make the experience extra special. As masters in their fields, they guide you in small groups of around 10 people, whether on zodiacs or on land, sharing insights about the sights and the history of the area. A fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in the primordial silence of the polar sea, witness a waterfall thundering sideways, or swim with marine iguanas. From the Arctic to the Antarctic, Galápagos, Kimberley, and Northern Europe, our expeditions bring you closer to these remote and remarkable places.

As pioneers of luxury expeditions, we offer unparalleled knowledge of these remote and wild locations. Our new collection encourages you to travel further than ever before, maximizing your time exploring on and around the shore. Clients can choose from flexible itineraries ranging from 6 to 23 days, ensuring you reach your desired destination in seamless style.

Do you have a favourite destination that you always recommend to first-time expedition cruisers and if so, which destination is it?

Arctic Expedition: A Perfect First-Time Adventure - The Arctic is an ideal destination for first-time explorers due to its proximity to the UK. A short three-hour flight to Norway brings you to your starting point. Once on the ship, you'll embark on a beautiful itinerary filled with extraordinary wildlife experiences. Witness Polar Bears in their natural habitat and marvel at Whales swimming and breaching alongside the zodiacs—truly life-changing moments.

Depending on the month, the weather can be favourable, but the stunning scenery and abundant wildlife make this adventure worthwhile. A must-do activity is the polar plunge into the icy waters. The anticipation builds onboard, and a warm toddy awaits you after the plunge, making you feel incredible!

If you could design your dream expedition cruise itinerary, what would it include?

Warm water cruising getting very close to the land and maybe something like the Pacific islands or French Polynesia would be my go-to. We already have some itineraries to these locations, and I would love to visit them someday.

What are your top three travel hacks for making the most out of an expedition cruise?

Always pack layers of clothing, as this allows you to adjust to changing temperatures. Even in polar regions, the weather can be surprisingly gorgeous at times. Make sure to bring a hat, as your head can get very cold. Additionally, wear your boots at home before your trip to break them in; there's nothing worse than new boots when you have a lot of walking to do.

Which lesser-known destination do you think deserves more attention from travellers?

The British Isles offer some amazing expedition cruises, showcasing incredible wildlife, especially birds. These destinations are close to home and easily accessible, often without the need for flights. You can explore Scotland's historic sights and castles, delving into its rich heritage. Similarly, Ireland offers a wealth of history and culture. Down south, places like Cornwall and Falmouth are equally captivating. People don't often associate the UK with expeditions, but there's so much to learn and see.

If you could only visit one destination for the rest of your life, which would it be?

Antarctica is my dream to go to – the images look amazing, and it is on my bucket list.

The one thing you take with you wherever you travel

I always have my phone with me – my Iphone takes great pictures, and it is easy to carry – so I can easily take pictures and make videos.
